Vocational College Level Programs
Ankara University Distance Education Center provides Vocational College Level Programs in five different areas:
- Tourism and Hotel Management Program
- Banking and Insurance Program
- Medical Documentation Support Personnel Program
- Computer Programming Distant Learning Program
- Judicial Services Support Personnel Program
These programs are for students who hold high school diplomas. Students graduated from vocational high schools can directly apply to these programs. Other students are required to enter the university entrance exam (YGS) conducted by ÖSYM. Students are assigned to this program according to their GPA scores, YGS results and program preferences.
Accepted students are registered to programs by Ankara University Student Affairs (Medical Documentation Support Personnel Program, Judicial Services Support Personnel Program students), Ankara University Beypazarı Vocational College (Tourism and Hotel Management Program, Banking and Insurance Program students), and Ankara University Elmadag Vocational College (Computer Programming Distant Learning Program students).
Students can access to course content, virtual classroom and other instructional activities by using the LMS (Moodle) system. Midterm exams of the programs are provided online, final exams are conducted in face-to-face settings in following cities: Ankara, İstanbul, İzmir, Şanlıurfa, Adana, Bursa, Konya, Trabzon, Elazığ, and makeup exams are organized in Ankara.
